Service from Lamar Chartered Surveyors has been exceptional, from the first contact with Kataryna. Our Surveyor Danyiel was also kind enough to spend half and hour of his own time discussing the property before finalising the report. This was not included in the package but was so very much appreciated. Highly, recommended. Will be keeping their details for personal AND professional use.

We paid over £700 for a full building survey and what we received was severely lacking in any useful information whatsoever. The survey I spent about half an hour at the property most of that time he was on the phone and this lack of attention is reflected in the report. I would strongly recommend reading reviews on Google in addition to those I’m really moving before proceeding with your quote.

We were those average first-time buyers looking to get a report done on our new home and I must say reading up on Lamar was a delight. We had never heard of them but they seemed super trustworthy from the outset and for us personally, it was 50% about the report but also 50% about building a relationship with a survey company! We built a friendly relationship with Amber and Charles, they had a great ability to pick a date and time that suited both us and the seller. Once we booked in the surveyor went and conducted the checks without our involvement which was great. Lamar liaised with all the relevant parties so that we didn't need to worry about anything. An hour after the search we had a direct call from the surveyor where he took us through the high-level condition of the place and what we should look out for (super helpful for our hearts)! Although the report itself took a while to come back to us, we were in constant communication with Lamar and we must admit we were super impressed with the level of detail they went to with the end report! Jargon-free details that anyone can understand and photographs to support the checks so we knew exactly what to look out for when viewing the property again! In fact, it will be a useful report way beyond the purchase in case we need to reference anything in the future. To sum up, great people with good service, and super helpful for newbies like ourselves. We wish them all the best in the future and would highly recommend to someone coming in from reallymoving as we were definitely directed in the right place :)

I am very satisfied with the service that I got from Lamar Chartered Surveyors. In the current challenging circumstances they are able to provide a good level of service and I would recommend them for Building Surveys.

Amber was brilliant. Even went in a day early, and communicating with the estate agent directly for me. I am still waiting on my report, so that is taking longer than other providers but covid, so fine. They did upon request give me indicator no major concerns, so I know no material impact on buying of my property.
