The service was really good, especially our movers on the day, who coped with our disorganisation with good humour and friendliness. I would have liked a receipt for our cash payment and it would have been good if Helen had made the payment options clear before the move. But these are small things and I would definitely recommend London Moving UK Ltd.

London Moving were a pleasure to deal with in what was an extremely stressful house moving process. Helen, who co-ordinated everything, was really flexible and understanding when our moving date kept changing (with less than 24 hours' notice) and the guys who did the packing and the move itself were cheerful, extremely efficient and very hard working. Plus, there isn't even a scratch on the freshly painted walls of our new home. We had to book a packing service as we were so busy just before the move but we would definitely do that again, even if we did have more time, as it was so efficient. Not that we intend to move house again for a very long time... Excellent value for money and fantastic customer service. Highly recommended!

Brilliant from beginning to end. Helen is very helpful and makes it as stress free as possible, she got back to me really quickly after I requested the quote (they were the most reasonably priced as well!). Its really difficult to foresee how many boxes you will have once you've finally finished packing and even though mine changed a bit they were really understanding. On the day I was met by two very nice, polite and friendly young men who, even when there was a hold up the other end (I didn't get the keys when I thought!), managed to get everything done in the allocated time! I really couldn't have asked for a better service. Oh ...just make sure you have cash or cheque to pay them at the end and give them a cold Pepsi for their troubles!

The movers themselves were excellent and got the job turned around quickly and effortlessly. However the back office admin was attrocious. I orginally requested a moving slot of 11am and was informed that this would not be possible - it could either be 8.30am or 1.30pm and that they recommeded 8.30am given i was moving a fair distance and wanted my furniture sent to storage. I agreed to the 8.30am slot which was then confirmed on email. On the day of my move when the movers had not arrived by 9.15 I called Helen to ask where they were to be told told they were coming "some time after 11" as this is what we agreed. I pointed out that she had originally told me it wasn't possible to have this as a slot and she admitted a mistake had been made. When the movers had not arrived by 12pm I called again to be told the earlier job was taking longer than expected and they would be with me as soon as possible and that this was the problem with choosig afternoon slots - which of course i had not. Eventually the movers arrived at my property at 1.45pm. I asked the admin team for a discount given the extreme inconvenience caused and this was refused. Therefore if you have to be out by a certain time of day I would not recommend London Moving

This was the first time such an incident had occurred as we pride ourselves in providing a first class service and second to none. However the move was carried out very successfully and the outcome a very positive one in terms of service provided. Since this move we have revised our booking system and have made changes to ensure that only stringent morning and afternoon slots are adhered to. It is unfortunate that the clients first request was journalled into the booking as an "after 11am" start and as aforementioned this is the first time this has ever happened. We could not allow the client a discount as she was in fact provided 2 men, new truck and insurance in transit from SW London to St Albans for £265.00 plus vat and as she has said herself the guys were extremely professional and moved her effortlessly, it would be unfair to both the company and the teams to have awarded a discount as the service provided was exactly as offered and nothing had changed other than the unfortunate timing error for which we wholeheartedly apologise, as we did on several occasions on the day. I am happy that the men did their utmost to make good the earlier problem encountered on that day and am satisfied that this was in fact a very successful move and wish the client could have focussed on the positives rather than the negative.

I had 2 men for 2 hours plus boxes as well. The men were very professional and efficient. They moved everything to the right place and I didn't need to lift a finger. On the whole, very satisfied with the service provided. I would use them again. However, I would have preferred if the company could have specified a more accurate time rather than "between 12-3 pm".

I do not have any record of any client complaining whilst a move was taking place . We have no log of any damage recorded nor can We identify the client from "alias". It is unfair to make such outrageous claims after the event. Our guys have never been accused of chatting nor causing a job to run over by an hour deliberately ever . We pride ourselves in providing a first class service and would have taken any complaints of any nature very seriously indeed!! The client whoever they are never rang during or after the service and as packing is done the day before and if as they state the packing was not as well done as they had hoped a professional co would have done , if they were genuine and had real concerns why did they not make contact with the office then where any real concerns could have and would have been dealt with . We only have one client who attempted to claim that items were missing or damaged the driver in charge went to the house and met with the son who showed him the alleged missing items (therefore not missing) and between them they identified one mug and a wine glass which had been damaged , we offered to replace them the client was obviously upset that her scam had been rumbled and I assume this to be her "payback" then I would suggest that if it is published I will take legal action against her .
