They did a fast and careful job of moving my stuff and were lovely to work with.

The first to contact me, the most competitively priced and really hard working. The guys never complained once and even helped with dissembling and reassembling furniture which wasn’t originally requested.

The two guys who came for the move were very hard working, they were also polite and friendly. They helped even to assemble the furniture. This was definitely one of the best moving experience I have had, and I have moved at least 6 times in the last 10 years, so I feel compelled to write a flying review about them. No hesitation to use them again when we need.

Thorough service, including dismantling and reassembling of furniture.

The estimator who came round told us how our furniture would be packed and wrapped. This did not happen. Mattresses were supposed to go in Mattress bags, furniture was supposed to be wrapped in blanket and tarpaulins, this also did not happen. Our leather suite is scratched and damaged, as is most of our painted furniture. My bespoke dolls house suffered damage too. We were told we would just have to sit down and relax. My partners toolboxes were also dented badly and scratched. The only items that were well packaged was the kitchen stuff, but we have one box missing which contained a large china breadbin. We told the firm we had to leave the day after packing and loading by 5 oclock the next moring. They grossly underestimated what they had to do and did not leave our house till well gone midnight. They were clearing our garden shed in the dark due to this and as it was raining everything was filthy with mud and the garden got trashed. They did not follow instruction of putting boards down in the garden to save the lawn. They should have clearly booked two days for moving our stuff out of the property. The carpets and floors were covered in mud and we had to clean these and did not get to bed until nearly 4 a.m. An hour later we had to be up! When they arrived at the new house, they put the beds up with missing bolts and got out as quickly as they could. Garden items had to be left behind at the old house due to the stress and time of night. One statue base is missing which was loaded. They are not replying to our emails about the damage caused nor the mess we were left in. If you value your items do not hire this company. They take no care of your treasured possessions and do not pack items the way the estimator says they do. The stress of the whole move caused a flare up of illness, which I am still trying to recover from.

Very professional, helpful, quick and efficient removals. Packing was excellent. Felt looked after and supported at every step. Slightly higher quote than others but turned out to be worth it. Couldn't have asked for better reassurance and contact throughout. Excellent communications and were very lucky to be moved by Taha Removals at short notice.
