I was so happy with Jaquie and her team. Very careful and respected all my belonging and put things in the right place. I felt care was taken. Good friendly team very efficient to the extent that another job at my dad's the following week I had no hesitation in getting to do that and was very happy again with the serive

We used P&M Movers as they were a local company with good reviews. We weren’t disappointed! Jacqui came to visit us before the move and gave us some great advice and tips on how to make the move go smoother. We were moving from Bury, Lancashire to Morpeth, Northumberland and required storage for a few days which P&M Movers sorted out for us. We were really impressed by the great communication and the friendliness and efficiency of the whole team . They made what could of been a logistical nightmare into a piece of cake! Would definitely recommend

They were all very friendly, helpful and hard working. Unfortunately they have damaged the front door of my new house and are unable to cover it under their insurance. 2 stars as I'm now left covering the cost of a replacement front door.

Excellent throughout - made moving simple by giving an accurate and bespoke quote and then providing all the crates needed to pack our things and taking care of moving everything on moving day. First class and fully recommended.

Very helpful from the initial contact and no obligation quote through to the move itself.

We used the packing service which was £300 and none of the boxes see labelled so we didn't know which rooms they belonged to. I also paid for dismantling and reassembly and now my double wardrobe doors don't fit properly and was told to just turn the screws at each side until they fitted but why am I paying for this service? My bed also had to be reassembled and has to have a bracket in the middle to be lifted. Not fitted and bracket lost. The base of my bed was marked from the van and it was only 18 months old. My having room chair also had dirty marks. The lads worked really hard but I found Jacqui abrupt and quite unnaproachable even having me in tears at one stage. All in all not amide person to deal with after she has got your money and I certainly would not recommend them. The lads are hardworking and polite and very helpful nothing being too much trouble but as a customer I should be the one being listened to and this was not the case.
Dear Linda you like some others are not being honest with your review. We loaded you during lock down and your sale fell through, that is when you went to bits and started crying. Jacqui was not there when this happened but she spoke to you on the phone at the time. She was not abrupt, she did tell you not to get upset as we would sort everything out for you. We had to unload your belongings to get what you needed back in your old home until you could move. We reassembled your bed and other things you needed then took your belongings into storage. We kept in touch with you until you sorted things out. We took everything out of store took them back to the new house. We also dismantled and reloaded the things from your old house and transported them to your new house. We did this all under extreme conditions due to the lock down and we even sprayed all your belongings with NHS standard sanitizer. Our website and paperwork clearly states flat pack furniture will not go back as it should do as it is not made to be moved once built. Your doors do not line up because the floor is not the same level in your new home. The doors are fitted correctly as you can only fit them the same way they came off and there is no other way to fit them. This is why we do not cover flat pack furniture and why you have to sign a disclaimer. We do not use boxes, we get you supplied free of charge cardboard heavy duty stacking crates and we leave them with you so you can unpacked in your own time. The crates stack so they take up very little space and you can take one when you want to and you can see exactly what is in each crate. These are the same crates used for fruit and veg in Lidl. We have no idea what bracket you are talking about for a bed but we have every fitting you can think of as spares for any bed in case they get damaged when being taken apart which they do. We moved you 4 times in around a week or so from house to house and store to house and from your house to your new house. We dismantled and rebuilt your furniture when it’s not meant to be taken apart. We did this all under extreme circumstances due to the lock down situation. We moved you from Bolton to Driffield North Yorkshire twice, loading and unloading, dismantling and rebuilding 3 or four times and the only time you complained is when we refused to collect the cardboard crates. Minor damage can happen as no removal company in the world can 100% avoid minor damage as it is the nature of the business. To put your complaint into prospective we have moved you and stored you twice, dismantled and rebuilt your flat pack furniture 3 to 4 times, traveled 210 miles per trip under Covid - 19 lock down restrictions. You are complaining that you have 2 paint chips, 1 on a door and 1 on a bedding box. Doors on a flat pack wardrobe that do not line up correctly because they are flat pack and not meant to be moved once built. We know nothing about any marks on anything as it was never mentioned by you or the staff which is not normal because the staff look for this and mention it every time without fail. I know your bad review was made because we refused to come to North Yorkshire during the Covid -19 lock down to collect the cardboard stacking crates when the council will take them away free of charge if you put them outside or ask them. You did not make your review until after we refused to collect the crates which is why I know they are totally unfair.
