I’m delighted with the service I received from Property Services Devon (aka Routledge and Routledge). Communication was good from the outset, and I was invited to highlight any particular concerns I had about the property which was helpful. I didn’t have to wait too long for the survey to be carried out and the report I received was extremely detailed and thorough. As a first time buyer of an old property I chose the level 3 survey – although it’s the most expensive I found it to be excellent value for the amount of information that was included. All the info was laid out in sections and it was easy to read and photos were included too. Helpful suggestions were made as to the documents I should acquire from the owners, things for solicitors to enquire about etc. The survey has really helped me get my bearings and to see what things in the property need addressing first, and why, and where appropriate the “how” was included too. I had a brief report on the same day the survey was undertaken, which was brilliant, and then the full report was sent shortly after. I was also given the opportunity to ask any questions I might have. A really brilliant service, thank you Property Services Devon for making this whole property buying thing a little less daunting!

They were really attentive to our needs and we had great communication from Phil. The report was comprehensive and was essential when dealing with an issue regarding building regulations. Phil even took the time to review from photos after the report was completed which again assisted us with negotiations with the vendor.

Efficient and excellent service from enquiry to instruction. Communication is excellent with a preliminary findings over email which relieved some stress and a detailed report which was very understandable. Phil also made himself available for any queries following
