The were amazing. Very efficient and answered all of my questions on the same day. They got me booked in straight away and kept me up to date with the progress and let me know when the survey had been completed.

In West Yorkshire near the A1 and M62, and 5 miles east of Wakefield and Leeds lies Pontefract, a small and pretty market town with plenty of history. Famous for its liquorice production and home of the Pontefract Cake, the town also played significant roles in the English Civil War, and in the present day the Pontefract Barracks are home to the Army Cadets and Territorial Army. Due to the lovely feel about the town and its proximity to major towns in West Yorkshire, Pontefract is a popular town, and last year alone up to June 2016 reallymoving helped 250 people move into the area.

Reallymoving recommends two types of house survey, the HomeBuyer Report and the Building Survey. A Chartered Surveyor will advise you on the most appropriate survey for you, which will depend on a number of factors, such as the age, construction type and structural condition of the property. For an older property in Pontefract, of which there are plenty, you would be advised to go for a more detailed Building Survey that can check for structural soundness of a house, whereas for a newer conventionally-built development a HomeBuyer Report is advisable.

Once moved in to your new home, why not check out what the area has to offer? Whether visiting Pontefract Castle, Pontefract Museum, or going for a special treat to the Haribo Outlet Factory, there is something for everyone in the town.
