My Home Move Conveyancing

Guiding you into your new home

At My Home Move Conveyancing, we are here to help reduce the stress that comes with moving home. As part of Simplify, the UK’s largest independent conveyancing and property services group, we will provide you with the help you need to move home successfully. That’s why we work with conveyancers from our own group, where each of the Simplify firms are CLC regulated. We allocate your case to the best possible people to do the job from across the group, so that you can be assured that your conveyancer has the experience, expertise and knowledge needed to take care of your move.

Our promise to you...

· Live online updates

Through our online case management tool, eWay, you have full visibility of the progress of your move, so you know what has happened as soon as it has happened. eWay gives you complete transparency, and control of your move: you can track the progress of your move and see exactly where we are in the process, upload documents, and even contact your conveyancer, all from your sofa.

· No hidden extras

We have expert quote advisors on-hand to help with any questions you have in the early stages. They want to make sure that we understand your case fully, so your quote is as accurate as possible and you know exactly what you will pay and what you are paying for. There are no hidden extras and our fees won’t change unless your instructions do.

· No Move, No Legal Fee Guarantee

If your move falls through, through no fault of your own, you won’t pay for any legal work that has already been carried out.

Not only that, if you’ve already paid for searches on a property and it falls through, we will honour free searches if you find a replacement property within 3 months.

· Your Conveyancer

We know consistency matters, that’s why you’ll be assigned your own personal conveyancer, who will guide you through your move, from beginning to end. Through Premier Property Lawyers, we have access to the best people for the job. We work with a combined team of more than 300 conveyancers and solicitors, who have seen and resolved every kind of hiccup or speed bump you could encounter during a home move.

The conveyancers we work with are available at a time to suit you, from 8am to 8pm most weekdays. We’re also open at the weekends too, providing you with the flexibility you need when moving home.

A bit dubious after reading a few negative comments about online conveyancing and estate agent advising that it may delay the move (they elbow you their own in house provider). What can i say? our conveyancer had searches back and questions raised and before our cash purchaser's high street solicitor had even requested theirs! The online system was handy - going through forms at your leisure and being able to upload instantly took a lot of pressure of the process, after uploading documents on a Sunday afternoon for instance, I would get a call 9.30 Monday with explanations to queries and easy to understand advice. I found contacting by phone to be easy, normally being able to speak to my conveyancer, Neil Hall, and they are available up to 8 or 8.30 in the evening which is also great. When the purchase fell through, it only took a call with a brief explanation for the account to be closed and unused searched funds to be reimbursed and, as part of their terms, I wasn't charged legal fees without quibble and will not be charged search fees again if I find another property. Will definitely use again!

They got the job done and were friendly and helpful in communication. However, frequently there would be no reply when I called and I had to chase things up a lot. I had the impression that they had too many cases on the go and if I didn't keep contacting them they just let our file sit.

We're pleased to hear that we got the job done and you valued our friendly and helpful approach. Your case took place during a particularly busy period for the market as a whole, which resulted, on busy days, in it becoming harder for all clients to get through to their conveyancer on the phone at their first attempt. We apologise that, in this instance, we have not met your expectations.

I was disappointed in the level of service I received. I never felt that I was dealt with as a priority at any stage, and had to continually chase for answers. Messages were not passed on either by voicemail, email or in person, and often they were so busy they didn't answer the phone at all. I wonder how long my transactions would have taken if I had left them to work at their own pace? I had 2 transactions, independent of each other which each took over 5 weeks longer than expected to reach completion. Far longer than when I had done the same thing 2 years previously. I am extremely disappointed as I had specifically chosen to use a conveyancing company as I had thought that they would have been more organised than a high street solicitor. Unsurprisingly I would not use, nor recommend their services again.

We are disappointed to hear that the service we provided in this instance may not have met our usual high standards. The cases in question took place during a particularly busy period for the market as a whole, which resulted in average transaction times (compared with 2 years ago) increasing considerably and, on busy days, it becoming harder for all clients to get through to their conveyancer on the phone at their first attempt. Our team are focused on proactively managing cases on behalf of our clients and keeping them informed every step of the way. We apologise that, in this instance, we have not met your expectations.
