Slow and seem to sit back and wait rather than chasing
We appreciate your feedback which will be considered in trying to better our service. We hope you can understand we are at the mercy of sellers solicitors providing information to us and especially in leasehold transactions where management companies and landlords can be slow in providing their packs. We confirm matters are chased where delays are present but if the sellers are unable to provide packs in good time there is not much we can do as this is dependent upon them rather than us. Although we are chasing the sellers solicitors, if management companies and landlords are not providing the relevant packs required to progress the transaction this does bring progress to a stall. Fast email response and I was always able to get through on the phone

Overall fairly good quality for the money. They send you the documents to complete by email, which you can also send back by email, so access to a printer is fairly essential. There was an instance of the estate agent trying to get a reply from them, and they only replied once I had been copied in. Otherwise no issues.

Overall positive but communication could be improved. As the app/website is main source of updates but not very personal and tailored to our case.

The initial estimated time to completion (6-8 weeks) turned into 4 agonising months. But COVID and incompetent and slow solicitors on the seller's side were the main culprits. I can't really fault our solicitor, who always responded quickly and professionally. We sometimes had to chase him. But overall he was excellent and I would probably use him again.
