Initial contact was very positive and the price quoted is very competitive. Thereafter on occasion I had difficulties having them answer the telephone and there is only one number to try (one day it remained unanswered the whole day). Communication from their side was decidedly poor and certain emails I sent them remained unanswered. I suspect there is a very small overworked team supporting the actual solicitor, who often seems to be absent from the office and unavailable. I was particularly disappointed when they left the application for withdrawal of my LISA savings until the very last week - AFTER I HAD REPEATEDLY ASKED THEM NOT TO (this withdrawal process is known to take at least two weeks)...leading to over an extra week of delays until 'completion' and unnecessary anguish. In the end it all worked out, but I doubt I would use them again.

Generally happy with the service and price. My only complaint is that I would prefer a little more proactive communication from the solicitor.

The solicitors replied to emails and returned calls in a timely fashion. They also transferred the money on the evening before so we could close early in the morning to get the keys as soon as possible due to a logistical issue with the moving company.

I was really happy with the service provided. My initial contact on the phone was welcoming, my questions answered with clear and helpful explanations. The whole process from start to finish felt completely straightforward, especially for someone used to the English rather than Scottish system. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again in future. Many thanks to James and his colleagues.
