We are a family run business based in Liverpool - in the north west of England. We specialise in domestic removals - both local and national, industrial/commercial storage, packaging services and housing clearances. We can cover all areas - distance is no object!

Our staff are informed, well trained and offer an efficient, friendly and extremely professional service at all times. You will find that our staff are ready and always willing to share their valuable experience and advice with our customers. We are fully covered by insurance and full packaging services are available.

We aim to take the hassle out of moving, whether it is the home or the office. It's a stressful period at the best of times, and it is something we try to minimize for our customers. At Merseyside Movers & Storers we have worked extremely hard over the years, in order to provide and establish a well respected name and reputation. Our removals team offer a friendly, efficient and professional service. They are fully trained and will make every effort to make your move as efficient and painless as possible.

We offer a range of storage facilities ideal for industrial storage, commercial storage, or for storage of household items. Our storage containers are both secure and economical for short and long term storage requirements.

Packaging Solutions

We can offer a full packaging service for all your home/business requirements, including fragile items such as paintings, glassware, china & crockery. Our team are fully experienced in handling all types of items & belongings.

If you would prefer to pack yourself, we can supply all the packaging materials that you will require. We are also able to offer advice on the safest packaging techniques, for either storage or removal.

The men who moved us were fantastic, could not fault them, hard working, polite, they could not do enough for us. However one guy walked of the job, as he was fed up not finishing on time. The management of this company, should be arrested for slave labour, those men work damn hard for £60 a day, they are paid the same for finishing at 5 or working later, due to job not being finished, because not enough men were put on the job in the first place. The move was very stressful for me and my family due to the fact that enough men were not put on the job. My family had to start loading the van and help out, otherwise we still would of been moving at midnight. As I say could not fault the men, but the management should be ashamed of them selves. Would not use this company again.

If anybody reads this, they will see that in the 12 years we have been using Reallymoving, there is nothing at all like this comment where feedback is concerned. I can't apologise enough to the customer and if she would have called me the following Monday I would have had no problem at all reimbursing her the full amount as an apology for the stress caused. We usually get it spot on where estimating a job is concerned, but for some reason, the estimator was miles and miles out this time. Which led to not enough men being assigned to the move. I take this kind of feedback very personal as we all work extremely hard, from management down to removal porter to make everybody's move run smooth and with as little stress a possible. We are human, and sometime (not very often here) humans make mistakes. It sickens me to read this very negative feedback and this move is very far and few between, 9.9 times out of 10 we are finished before 5pm, a lot of moves, if there is no key waiting, much earlier. The porter who walked off the job is no longer with us, as no matter what the circumstances he should have stayed and got it finished. Like the other 2 men on the job, he would have been paid overtime when I was informed on Monday morning of how late they finished. The comments about slave labour are not true, we pay the going rate for a removal porter £18500.00 per year with drivers on considerably more so where the customer got £60.00 per day from I don't know. The porter who walked off the job had been with us for a couple of weeks on a trial basis, removals was not suitable for him as he thought it was a 9 to 5 job. It simply isn't, sometimes a move can go over, sometimes we wait until 5 to 5 pm for keys to arrive before we can begin unloading. Sometimes a move will finish as early as 1pm, but we don't pay any less so like all removal companies, paying an hourly rate does not work. It is a salaried job, for flexible hours. On this very, very rare occasion things went dreadfully wrong. I apologise again and will learn from this incident to make sure it never happens again. I would like to invite any body who is looking to use our company and reading this to check out the fantastic feedback on the testimonial page on our website. Our removal teams really do a fantastic job, get so much praise and fantastic feedback all the time and this is a one off mistake on the management side that I will learn from. Service was excellent, nothing was a problem for the two movers who executed my move, they were courteous, well mannered and very willing, although it was a long distance move of 114 miles they conducted themselves very well indeed. John Owen whom I dealt with at Merseyside Movers was very attentive and again he was always ready and willing to help, I had to have my window removed to get a settee out of the lounge and although I arranged this myself he and the company was very patient, also Johns wife Marie who does the admin in the office was very helpful as well.

Top notch service and great value for money. From packing up the house to delivery, the service was class and the lads didn't stop grafting. Will definitely use again if we move in the future. It took all the stress out of moving.

I was impressed with the selection provided by reallymoving.com. I initially contacted another company who promised to call round to give a price then failed to call me back when I rang and asked them to confirm this. Merseyside Movers and Storers were excellent. Patrick contacted me following my reallymoving.com search offering to call round to look at how much we had to move and give a firm price. Having been let down by the other company I contacted Patrick only six days before my move date and he came round the same day. Despite having a massive amount to move the final price was only £30 more than the original quote. Everything went superbly well on the day and, when it was clear that the contents of our garage and sheds would not fit into the large removal vehicle, an extra van and two more men were sent. Everything was placed in the correct room and nothing was damaged. I have nothing but praise for this company and especially and the five men who worked so hard on the day. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
