Knights Move

The van looks old and battered but they did a brilliant job. Nothing was broken. They were very efficient, effective and good value.

Mike came and looked and estimated what would be needed and how much it would cost. He was spot on. On the day a large van for the house contents and a smaller one for the garage, shed and garden stuff arrived at 7.45 (great to use different vans) plus five amazing men. Dionne can get your furniture into spaces a non-professional would never manage. John, Mark, Wayne and Joe worked with him as a cohesive team. They never stopped until all was finished at 6pm although make sure Joe can make tea to keep them going. They are all great and made our move with 46 years of 'clutter' a day to remember for all the right reasons. Everything packed in the van piece by piece like a jigsaw but paying great attention to fragile items and, as we moved on a day of continuous rain, the furniture was wrapped and all carpets covered. I would not hesitate to recommend Knights Move and cannot praise them enough.

Mike is really helpful, moved me three times now - him and the lads are friendly and hardworking...they don't hang around!!! Highly recommend.

Overall I was pleased with Knights Move. Mike was very personable and friendly! Good communication via telephone and email. The guys who came were efficient and had the house packed up in a couple of hours! Only quibble I had was they forgot my plant pots and bird feeder, but to be fair to the guys it was chucking it down with rain! At the new house everything was unpacked efficiently and again within a couple of hours. All belongings in one piece. Our bed wasn't quite properly erected and a couple of wardrobe doors were on upside down but again we are really laid back and weren't even around to direct the guys, we just let them in and left them to it. So if you have any furniture that is difficult to assemble it is probably best to be on hand to advise! Still very pleased with how smoothly the move went and would recommend to family and friends. Couldn't be happier with the service delivered by this company. By nature I'm a bit of a worrier and before going with any moving company I painstakingly scoured through reviews before contacting the final options. I whittled it down to three companies (including some well known bigger companies), but Knights Move were the only company to bother actually visiting my flat to see exactly what would need to be moved so they could give a thorough and reliable quote. Really impressed with this as I've heard horror stories from friends/family who have had removal firms turn up on the day and charge more, as there were more items to move than they expected. I decided to go with Knights Move as I felt like they were a company I could rely on after meeting Mike and I wasn't disappointed. The quote they provided me with was more expensive than Really Moving said it would be, but I knew I wouldn't get any nasty surprises on the day as it was specifically tailored to me and my property. They may not be the cheapest quote on the site but it will be the most accurate / honest and they won't let you down. Mike kept in contact with me up running up to the move and was always available to answer my texts/calls should I need anything (or if he wasn't he'd call me back). On the day, the three lads showed up on time and were absolutely brilliant - really friendly, polite and helpful. Quite funny too and brought a bit of humour to what is a very stressful time. They even gave me some advice on what they thought would need to be done to make my existing furniture fit within my new house, which I really appreciated. A good few hours and cups of tea later, we were fully moved in and very happy. I honestly can't recommend this company enough. So happy with them and will definitely be advising friends/family to use them in the future!!
