Level 2 Survey
This is a RICS-designed survey that focuses on the defects that have a material effect on the value of the property. The Level 2 Survey inspects the inside and outside of the building, the services and the site.
The report will rate elements from 1 to 3, and is in a standardised, easy to understand format.
Level 3 Survey
The Level 3 Survey is the most detailed report, and will closely examine the structural condition of the accessible elements of the property you are purchasing and the service installations.
The report will inform you about the construction materials and any maintenance requirements for the short and long term. It will also ensure you are aware of any issues such as dampness, timber defects and structural movement.
