Banbridge Surveyors Ltd is a Horley based firm of surveyors who have an extensive knowledge of the property industry. We are a family run company with over 35 years of experience in completing surveys for residential and commercial property purchases. Since this time we have gained a wealth of expertise in the both the field of surveying and the local area.

We provide a surveying service in and around the London and Home Counties area, including:

Banbridge were very good both in quality of work and price. They were accommodating when we had trouble arranging the visit and charged us no extra to look at our neighbors roof. Everything was managed very professionally and deadlines met. I was quoted several times almost 50% more than what these guys charged but do not hesitate they are very professional. The work is full comprehensive.

I selected this company (not the cheapest) on the basis of previous feedback, for a structural survey on a cash purchase. The survey took place as scheduled, with a follow-up call on the day, when the surveyor promised additional research into two issues that I had asked them to investigate. The report was issued on time, with most of the content as expected, but it did not appear that any further research was undertaken. Although I knew the property presented a number of challenges I also would have appreciated more written explanation for how such a large down-valuation was calculated.

We are very disappointed that our survey did not meet our clients expectation as not only did the report cover both the aspects raised above, the surveyor spent time on the telephone explaining the very real dangers of buying a wooden fabricated property on the river bank of a clearly documented recent flood area. In that call our client gave no indication of disappointment with advice received. In 2014 it’s a matter of record that the entire area suffered dreadful flooding. The value one places on a property is entirely a personal matter and we never offer ‘For sale’ or ‘Market Values’ only guide value price based entirely on local factors and property condition and risk. We did all we could but sometimes it’s just not enough and there is sadly nothing more we can offer.
