Matthew & Scope we’re extremely helpful. Answered all my questions thoroughly & provided an in-depth report. The report was undertaken almost immediately from obtaining a quote & was kept informed throughout.

Based on quotes generated on reallymoving.com, Matt at Scope conducted a Level 2 homebuyers survey on our property purchase in Battersea in November 2021. This was overall a positive experience due to: * Good communication and availability to get the survey done within a week of booking. * Meeting us in the property at the start of the survey. This meant Matt could explain in person and point to some elements of concern such as the guttering and quality of a previous roof patch up. * Proving a comprehensive written report with photos a week after completing the in-person survey, as promised. * Being flexible on arranging a follow-up call to go through the survey report in depth, giving reasoning behind red/amber/green ratings and suggestions of priority issues and what to clarify in the purchase process. It is an expensive service but we were pleased with the quality of the report and good nature of Matt to patiently explain the report findings. The downside of a level 2 survey is it being a visual inspection without moving any furniture. Upon moving into the property, we found a large section of damp on the kitchen/living area wall, previously hidden by a large cabinet. This was not captured in the survey report.

I couldn't be more satisfied with the service provided. My contact was Matthew Aldridge and he guided us from the first call to the final report. He gave us a lot of advices and was always available for any questions and clarifications. The report we received was really detailed and easy to understand. In addition to that, we called him to ask him some questions about the survey, and he explained us each section with further comments. He is one of the most professional person I ever met.
