Cos Freight provided me with a very average/below average experience moving house compared to other removals firms I have used in the past. The men who turned up to do the packing and removals were friendly, but the van they turned up in was too small and they could not fit all my belongings inside. Rather than telling me, they simply left various items in cupboards and in the outside shed which did not fit, despite telling me that they had checked and everything had been emptied. Luckily I did a through check of the old house myself before we left. When I challenged them on this, they just said "sorry, the van is full" and offered no real solution - I ended up having to load up my car with the remaining items ... not something you expect to have to do when you have paid a removals company to carry your possessions. The actual removal happened pretty smoothly, and they were quite efficient at unloading the van at my new house, although they left before rebuilding a couple of items of furniture that they had taken apart. I opted for the professional packing service - unfortunately as I have begun unpacking the boxes it has quickly became apparent this was anything but professional: While luckily none of my possessions were broken, this was more by luck than skill. Delicate ornaments and glassware were put in the same boxes as heavy items, some things were carefully wrapped while others were just thrown together in a box, and I even found multiple dirty milky way wrappers inside several of the packing boxes. It felt very much like the packers had run out of time, or just given up. By way of a coda to the overall lacklustre experience, I had to contact Cos multiple times before they would come to collect their boxes once I had finished unpacking - they promised multiple times, but failed to keep several appointments. While they probably aren't the worst removals firm out there, they certainly did not give me a great relaxing experience, and I will not be using them again.

They are clearly a professional firm. That’s why I went with them and didn’t go elsewhere when the price increased. Gordon kept in good communication. However I was disappointed that 1- the quote price changed twice which was frustrating (one verbal and one official - due to re-quotes due to length of time taken to move and me to accept the quote) 2- I was verbally told I would have all Cos freight vans. On the day only 1/4 were from cos freight. This is fine and not an issue in itself but it caused stress and confusion when the subcontracted vans arrived much earlier and had no idea what the plan was or that they should wait for the leader from cos freight. So they started working but didn’t have any of the floor coverings, furniture protectors. I have to say though once Andre from Cos did arrive he sorted everything. So overall from that point on it went well. I do understand that it is a busy time but when you pay a premium price you expect not to have these issues and that’s the reason for the drop of 1 star. The crew worked hard and there were enough people. Overall I probably would use them again but I would recommend they communicate internally with subs better.

We had two vans and four men come to move us, they said they would arrive 7.30-8.30 but in fact we’re early which was great. We had packed everything and dismantled furniture, we had done this before we knew it was a free service. Both vans were loaded by 11.00. Expertly done. At the other end they were waiting when he had received the keys at 1.30. They unloaded mostly into the rooms we wanted and finished by 4.00. They offered to assemble any furniture but as it wasn’t necessary they were able to drive the two hours back to Beds.

Outstanding customer service!! I approached Cos Freight a week before when the moving date. Craig was very friendly, professional and gave me all the information and the reassurance I need. Unlike some other firms where customer service go out of the window once the deposit was paid, Craig kept outstanding customer service until the moving day. He was always approachable and prompt in communication. He prepared an accurate competitive quotation by watching the videos and organised vehicles sufficient to carry the total volume in one go with enough crew. That gave me a lot of peace of mind than playing on the edge on the moving day. Moving was easier than going to the airport with packed bags!. Cos Freight team was very organised and professional. They handled everything. They arrived on time and cleared the home well before 1pm. We had a piano which they handled with care. When moving items into places, the crew was happy to adjust the location until we were fully satisfied. Service was really value for money and taken a whole lot of stress away. Highly recommended.

We had a difficult chain as our buyer kept delaying the exchange and completion date. Amir was my contact at Cos Freight. He was so kind and supportive. We thought we were moving on 23rd October 2020 and didn’t actually move until 25th February 2021. When the removal guys came to move us nothing was too much trouble. The actual move was absolutely stress free. We cannot thank Amir and the team enough. We have already recommended you to my husband’s brother and he was also really pleased with the service too. Thank you so much to Amir and the Team. We are now making happy memories in our new home.

Amir from the beginning of when he contacted us was professional, helpful and was supportive as he understands what a stressful time moving is. The 3 men, Andrei B, Marian B and Otto who coordinated our move on the actual day were absolutely fantastic. Professional, polite, helpful and were able to fit everything in when we didnt think it was possible. They also provided advice for how we can pack things better to avoid. I cannot thank the team enough and would recommend Cos Freight for any move as I think the team are amazing.

After being let down by another company, Craig, worked everything out for us. The movers turned up on time, well prepared, they were courteous, careful and efficient at pick up and drop off. I can't thank them enough for stepping in and doing a brilliant job.
