Van turned up 1.5 hours late but was kept well informed of arrival time. The two guys were very polite and diligent. Quoted for 4 hours, thought it would take closer to 6 or 7, a little surprised it took 9 in total.

I was not overly impressed by the service of this company. Firstly the lads turned up just over an hour late and I had no call to advise me of this. I called Helen after about 45 minutes of waiting, who then informed me that they were running late and when they arrived they said they'd tried to call but Helen had given them the wrong phone number. They started well and boxes seemed to be leaving the flat quickly but after a couple of hours this seemed to slow dramatically. I was told that the fact that we didn't provide proper moving boxes had slowed things down, which I accept partly, but when my wife and I hadn't seen them for a while we started to take things down to the van to speed up the process, only to find one having a cigarette and the other nowhere to be seen. After a few more runs we decided to leave them to it and head to the new house at 1pm. They said they thought they had another 20 mins work and then would be leaving. They eventually arrived at 3.30pm. The journey should have taken 45 mins. Basically I was given all sorts or excuses about the bins, where they were leaving the sofa and bedframe, being far away (They are in the car park behind the flat?) and the 20mins being more like 40 mins etc but the timings just didn't add up and about an hour and a half is unaccounted for. Helen dealt with everything by text, except for the initial call which she answered from me in the morning, and so was unavailable to discuss the problems during the day. She did offer to take off 45 mins of the charged for time but obviously this still leaves another 45 mins of unaccounted time at overtime rates with the final bill being £234 more than the original estimate. When the lads finally turned up at the new address, one had a fag hanging out of his mouth which did amuse the new neighbours who had been waiting and living the saga of the missing removal men with us. On the positive side the lads did put down blankets to protect my newly laid beige carpets and although there were scuffs up the hallway walls, i'd imagine these are difficult not to cause when moving furntiure and can be painted over easily. My father-in-law also said that he saw them throw 2 empty cans of drink onto the drive as they left. I personally didn't see this, only the empty cans that were left, which were duly binned. All in all, not the most professional company and not the cheapest either. I certainly wouldn't ever use them again. If you are going to end up paying proper money you may as well get a proper company in to do the job in the first place. Lesson learned.

I am at a complete loss as to the comments within this email in terms of everything. The client was advised that the team were running late ahead of time and the load took the time it needed to be carried out well and without damage, along with a disposal service. The packing materials used were basically supermarket type boxes which does slow the team down as it makes it more difficult to stack and carry more than one at a time if the boxes are not uniform. This is not a problem and we accept that all clients pack as well as they can and we just make the best of the situation as it is. The team were left behind by the client and told to dispose of numerous items of furniture with a long walk to an area detached from the property which took longer than they had anticipated when the client left and their departure was delayed by this. We agreed a reduction of 45 minutes would be given as that was a gesture of goodwill on our part as in all other respects the move had gone very well and the client had underestimated his load and disposal requirements. There was no estimate given to this client, he decided to book based on the original quote which is based on a 2 bedroom moving a short distance, pre packed and dismantled by the client without disposal. He in fact was moving 45 minutes away (car journey) which takes longer in a truck and then the team had to park the vehicle, so around an hour and a 1/4 excess time just travelling, then the client had many items of disposal which added to the time this move needed. The team do not smoke in the trucks nor do they smoke when working. The client was not charged for cigarette breaks. I did not receive a call from the client and I kept him informed throughout the journey via text which is standard procedure once the team are en route. We spoke at the telephone at the end of the move and the client was jovial. I am happy there is no mention of damage to furniture, belongings or the clients carpets and have not received any communication whatsoever from this client in any respect nor any complaints and certainly he was not unhappy at the end of the move and paid £444 for a 2 bedroom moving some 22 miles away.This client had a disposal service also. The client should have informed us of the true nature of the move and we are very experienced in terms of estimating both online and by viewing and the client was offered this service which he refused. We were not informed in advance of the need for disposals which, as you will see, we are happy to accommodate and inevitably this made the process take longer than the client had anticipated. The team deny the allegation of throwing cans into the clients drive way.

Excellent service from the initial enquiry telephone conversation to the moment the delivery drivers left. When the price came up on the website it was so much lower than the majority of others I had seen so I was a little dubious, I needn't have been though! The price quote is the one charged - we ended up paying £360 for a two bedroom house move but that was still far far lower than any other quote we had!

I had requested quotes via Really moving and after comparing with lots of different sites, I decided to go with London Moving UK Ltd. Not only did they offer me the lowest quote, but also was I impressed by their clients' reviews and Helen's prompt response. I was not disappointed. Helen even had gone out of her way to let me know an earlier slot was available for me on Saturday morning so that I could manage to move much earlier than expected. Two very nice guys showed up 15 minutes earlier than expected and started working straight afterwards. They took care of everything and had been courteous and friendly throughout the whole moving process. My move was completed in 2.5 hours although slightly longer than expected, their services were second to none. I paid the office via phone by card at the end of this and was really happy that I used this company. This made a stressful moving experience much easier and almost pleasant because the two guys literally took care of everything so nicely. Martin and Merek(not sure I got the name right) were great help and I will definitely recommend their service to other family members and friends, colleagues. This company offers the best available realistic quotes, they may not be the cheapest ones compare with those gum tree advertisers but they are licensed, insured and carry their duties with absolute professionalism, I was very pleased with this experience and would like to thank Helen and her staff for this.

The guys who turned up to do the moving were working really hard, non-stop to make sure the move happened on time. They provided extra boxes for a few loose items that we had, for no extra charge. Nothing got damaged. I would highly recommend them.

The Team arrived late,spoke little English and misunderstood what was required to be moved and left items behind. including the base of the bed,they forgot the wardrobe ,drawers and most of the bedding and soft furnishings.

This move was booked by a third party on behalf of another client, an aged gentleman and booked for a pack and move for 5 hours at £335 including vat. The team started at 0945 hours as they could not find a parking space but made the best of the situation as they always do and began immediately. The team packed, dismantled and relocated as directed by the client and as per his wishes, the client was in attendance throughout and paid on completion by card and was very complimentary about the team. The team leader speaks 4 languages in addition to his own: English, Spanish, Russian and Polish and is from Lithuania and is a very competent, efficient operative who directs his equally efficient, polite and honest porter with great calm and leadership. The client it seems was dividing his property as he was downsizing and passing items on to the third party that made the call on his behalf , the lady in question was also in attendance and our teams can only pack and relocate that which they are directed to do especially when some of the items are to be retained by a third party. The client did not call at any time during or after the move to discuss any problems and the first we knew was 2 weeks later when the third party asked for a refund for items allegedly left behind. I indicated to the client's representative that we could not engage in such a refund as we performed duties to the clients order on the day and had anything been left behind it was at the request of the client or the representative. I have not heard from the client directly and will be making arrangements to visit him to discuss the issues rather than communicating via a third party who had an interest in some of the goods as they were receiving them from the client. In any event it would be highly unusual to refund monies based on a move that went exactly as planned, efficiently without damage and as per the clients instructions. This was a one bedroom property occupied by a single elderly gentleman and took exactly the time estimated of 5 hours and therefore this will indicate that everything that should have been packed and relocated was and furthermore received by the client. I cannot add to these allegations any further as such as this move was carried out well and professionally by two very honest, lovely guys.

Excellent service carried out with good humour and a sense of fun. The two chaps went out of thier way to make sure the service levels were surpassed and excelled where many people would have given up. It was a difficult move and both fellas are a credit to Helen and her company. Highly Recomended!
