Others have commented that communications were poor and this was our experience as well. I had to follow-up on everything. I was told I'd be given a contact name and number of the lead mover but then heard nothing. I had to request this the day before the move then on the day of the move, when the movers were 20 minutes late I rang the contact and he had no idea about our move. The movers who eventually turned up were an hour and a half late even though I had confirmed the time the day before. The reasons given were impossible to verify (something about having to pick up the van in a different depot at the last minute) but I thought it was poor service that I had to chase up everything - we were not told of the delay and I had to keep checking to find out when they would arrive. It added to the stress of the move. The movers who turned up worked hard and were pleasant. This is just an observation, not a complaint but we were totally ready and had packed everything ourselves and the move did take about an hour longer than quoted.

The client was sent communications following every query raised and all were dealt with quickly and efficiently given that we are in the season of moving many, many clients, whether they text or emailed each and every one was replied to. We ran late because: We suffered an unfortunate loss of vehicle due to an engine failure in a 2 year old truck and these things happen in the service industry, it is rather how you deal with it that is more important than the drama itself. Our reaction was to hire in as we do on occasions, a replacement larger truck and due to this needing to be collected in a different location the team ran late. The client would have been informed of this by text message. We would never let a client down regardless of the situation we have to face and as they were not on a timed completion or vacant on possession deadline it was less damning to their process than it could have been had they needed to be out of the first property at a certain time. As it was the team pulled out all the stops as they always do and they packed the fragile items and loaded the client in double quick time, it took an hour longer than the average (we had not viewed) and just means they have more items and this in real terms is exceptional. I am very proud of my teams who are consistently professional, efficient and careful such as the client has not indicated poor service out on the front line where it really matters. No items were damaged, the property was left in the same condition as it was found which is something we pride ourselves in and take very, very seriously. The client paid a very competitive rate for this exceptional move which although was beset with difficulty at the start due to the delay, ended well, without stress or damage during the process and after. I have spoken with the client since and they have not informed me of any dissatisfaction and thanked me very much indeed. I sincerely hope this negative feedback will be taken in the context it deserves and in reality that a delay caused by technical difficulties which was remedied quickly and effectively with a move completed as agreed, is seen for what it truly is.

People were very nice, and pretty professional. There was only one problem... a delay of 4 hours. Apparently there was a move prior to mine, and the keys were not available. This was not a major issues for me as I was moving well in advance of the handover of my flat.

2 very nice, friendly, helpful, Polish lads did our move. They calked to say they were held up on traffic but in the end only turned up 5 mins late. Moved everything with a 'no problem' attitude, very efficient. We had to wait a bit as the people in the house we were moving to had been let down by their removal company. Moved stuff into our new place very efficiently as well - did everything we asked them to. Would recommend this company.

I had no prior experience of removals companies having always been able to move myself, so was a little nervous about hiring someone in but I have to say from beginning to end the service from London moving was excellent. The guys were super quick and had completion happened more efficiently we would have been packed up and moved in in under 4 hours. I was concerned that their speed might be at the cost to some damaged furniture but there was not a scratch on any of my possessions. They took apart my bed and wardrobes and put them back together again. Genuinely nothing was too much trouble. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Because the original price was so competative I was happy to pay for the extra services. The team of 4 could not have worked harder. They turned up on time packed, transported and unpacked the same day. The service from Helen and the team was 5 star and made what could have been a very stressful day very easy. Mat and Artur packed the day before we moved which was a fantastic service. All the boxes were labelled and put in the correct rooms in our new house. No a single breakage!! A massive thankyou to the team and I highly recomend London Moving as a company which makes moving easy.

The move could not have gone smoother, or quicker. They arrived early and both guys worked incredibly hard from start to finish. They took great care of our things yet somehow managed to move our 3 bed house, overflowing shed, greenhouse and garden in 3 hours. Boxes that we had not labelled clearly were all run past us to ensure they were left in the correct rooms. They squeezed a huge amount of our belongings very cleverly into cupboards - a huge help as we were moving to a smaller house so space was limited. Communication was excellent, lovely people to deal with. We have moved twice before and London Moving helped make this move a very happy day for us all. We were very pleasantly surprised to be sitting on the sofa by lunchtime enjoying our new home!
