As a registered disabled person i had hope that having a sofa and table with missing parts would be rectified as soon as possible. 3 weeks on and still not resolved. I have been expected to chase John lewis for the parts but they know nothing about this . Disgusting service from them
Hi, I have been in constant contact with you and again this morning. I am trying to resolve the situation for you all I asked you to do was provide me or John Lewis with your personal details so they can look at what you purchased and if they could find you the parts you need. I feel the service is far from disgusting and we have done our best to help you.

The move went well. Everything was packed well and there were no breakages. The team of men were efficient and very helpful. Moving home is a very stressful business but we couldn't fault the service that we received from Removers and Storers Ltd.

Called on Tuesday 26th July evening to say the van moving our stuff had broken down. We were told they would not meet our removal day which was on Friday 29th July (Asked if we had quotes from other firms to use. We paid £110 in advance to secure a Lorry (apparently) for our move. Turns out the Lorry broken down was one of their own. Asked why I paid the money? they said, we had too much to take hence needed a 7.5 tonne Lorry. They already knew how much they we're going to load when they took payment for hire. Told us the Wednesday that the only way to do the move would be to take our stuff Thursday, put it in storage, and then deliver Monday the 1st of August. They had no contingency plan whatsoever other than this. Chap calling to tell me this said, Are you sitting down? (Really??!) gave me the news would cost £700 more to store and deliver Monday!!! When I said it's not our fault the Lorry broke down, he said, 'it's not our fault either!!!' backed into a corner what choice did we have?!! I did try to haggle the price but should I really be paying extra for this? I called other firms who were stunned out how we were treated but couldn't help because of short notice. Luckily a local firm came to our rescue at last minute they were told by a large firm we had got in touch and they had availability. I called removers and storers to let them know I would not be needing their services. I told them I'd paid £110 for a Lorry that I wasn't getting and told them I don't care you keep that. We had so much stress with the house purchase and now this, I thought, chalk it down to experience, don't need any more aggravation. The reply from the customer service woman on the phone when I mentioned the hire fee?? I'll never forget, 'it's the way the cookie crumbles love!' I'm absolutely speechless.
Thank you for your feedback I am really sorry the vehicle we planned to send to you on the day of your move had issues it was completely out of our control and we did try to give you as much notice as possible to find another company. When we confirmed to do your move all our vehicles had already been booked and we were intending to hire a vehicle so we could send you our bigger vehicle. This hired vehicle would go on another move but was too small for your removal. We would of been more than willing to refund you the hire charge and I am not sure who you spoke to but as one of two in customer services me being the manager I can categorically say we would never speak to you or anyone like that.

Excellent, professional, everything explained in their Survey visit. On time polite and worked at a good but not break neck pace. Everything moved 70 miles on the day no breakages. The day before packing service is well worth it.

Everything happened quicker than originally planned. Office staff very helpful, removers very friendly and efficient. Don't have a bad word to say about the service.

Our moving day was terrible, they sent a van that was only half the size we needed. We had to wait over two hours for another van to come and take what could not fit in the first van. I would never recommend this company.
Thank you for your feedback we sent a surveyor round to assess what items needed to be removed from your property and the van we sent you should of been sufficient. I am of course sorry an extra van was needed as it added stress to your move but we are very quick to correct and resolve issues like these if they arise.
